it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are truly exceptional! They work hard to succeed. They persevere when faced with a challenge, creatively inspire our community, and believe in one another. They are tomorrow's leaders and world-changers. They are our future and together we can help them reach their dreams.
My students are energetic, smart, and motivated to succeed.
Even though they come from a variety of backgrounds of race, religion, academic levels, and family structure, we all work together to create a unique learning experience, instilling a love of learning and exploring that will last a lifetime. Many of my students' parents work multiple jobs and are unable to attend school events; therefore, parents are missing out on their students' successes.
Our school garden has been updated. It has become one of the most important places in our school. It is the first and last place students see when they come to school as they get on and off the bus. It is a an area where students can grow, learn, relax, and have fun. We even have a friendship rock garden too.
We are really working on STEM and how we impact he world around us. Due to the Texas heat, our garden needs watering systems to help maintain the plants in an easy and sustainable way. These watering systems will help our new garden beds be maintained and be easily sustainable. We also need a the hose to attach our watering systems and small hoses that connect each system.
