Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As our orchestra program grows in both numbers and quality we're beginning to feel the strain of not having enough equipment for all students. As our orchestra improves in quality and numbers, we find ourselves with a need for music stands for both our combined orchestra and our traveling group. The traveling group performs across our county for elementary and middle school students to expose them to orchestra and diverse genres of music. We play everything from hip-hop to classical and aim to entertain and educate at the same time. With us traveling, carrying instruments, music, sound equipment, and music stands is difficult. These folding music stands will help us travel more efficiently and more often!
