Help our middle school GSA with Day of Silence 2025

Help me give my students the materials needed to prepare (and celebrate) this year's student-led Day of Silence, with t-shirts, iron on papers, stickers, and pins.

My Project

This year, my GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) Club students are eager to use their voices—and even their clothing—to educate others about the 2025 Day of (No) Silence. The Day of Silence is a nationally recognized demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies across the country take a stand against the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination in schools. My students want to ensure their peers understand these impacts and the importance of inclusion.

To bring awareness to this important event, we need your support!

We are requesting black t-shirts, iron-on transfer paper, stickers, and buttons to help spread our message. In the days leading up to the Day of (No) Silence, students will read informative messages during school announcements, share resources on our digital student platform, and proudly wear their homemade “Day of No Silence” shirts. These materials will serve as conversation starters, making this initiative more visible and impactful.

What makes my students special is their unwavering dedication to advocacy—not just for LGBTQ+ rights but also for other marginalized groups, including our autism inclusion students. They are passionate, driven, and committed to making our school a more accepting place for everyone. This event means the world to them, and with your help, they can make a real difference.
