Help! Our Library is Old and Outdated!

My students need new current fiction books to help them not only develop their skills, but a love of reading.

This project is fully funded

Our school is a large urban elementary school with a very high poverty level. The majority of our students are new to our country. They are motivated learners but lack the resources to grow as learners.

Our library is the heart of our school. We strive to put as many books into the hands of our students as we can. Our problem is that our library is small for our growing population and is made up largely of out of date or old books. In addition, the local public library is not within walking distance for many of our students. Our library will be our students window to the world.

We seek to add new and motivating literature to our library so we may continue to support our students as they make the transition to a new country and school.

Your help will ensure that our students have the best possible resources they deserve. The more books students have the better students they will become!
