Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help our students beautify our school by creating a Kindness Garden. With these supplies, students will be able to paint and write kind words on rocks to encourage others. Our Kindness Rock Garden will help promote Social and Emotional Needs.

The rock garden would give the opportunity to teach our students about kindness and give them a space to not only be creative, but also help them with their social emotional learning.

Adding a positive rock garden of kindness near our school’s front office will also help to improve our school’s culture of care, kindness, and belonging.

Ms. Payne - Art Teacher will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 17.
