My Project

Gardening is a great way to connect with nature. My students have special needs and learn best when they are actively participating, so a gardening project will reinforce what they will learn from our nutrition unit, help them connect to nature, and make them proud of their accomplishments.

The raised garden beds and soil will bring this project to life and help my students learn how to provide food for themselves and get to experience the joy of seeing their hard work pay off when the seedlings break free from the soil.
