My students need materials such as book bins and supply caddies that were destroyed in a flood.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. J.'s classroom raised $495
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our classroom flooded leaving two inches of water in our classroom. My students and I were devastated by the loss of so many of our classroom materials and resources.
I have 11 boys and 9 girls in my classroom.
They come from poverty stricken neighborhoods. They come from various cultural and economic backgrounds. This offers a great challenge for me as well as for the students. It also offers a great opportunity for people to work together and learn about others and their way of life. My students attend an inner city Title I school that struggles to keep and maintain adequate equipment and supplies.
My Project
My First Draw & Write Journals will be used as a self-selected journal time to foster literacy growth and development. Journal writing should be supported by a print/rich literacy environment where there are daily opportunities for students to explore language in a variety of contexts. The Magnetic Display Clips will be use to display the students projects. The Write and Wipe Pocket Sets will promote practices that invite children to engage in meaningful literacy experiences. The storage containers will be used to protect the materials in the future. The file cabinet will be used to secure and store students projects appropriately.
Our class need a Positive Beginning.
Please help us get our classroom start learning and having fun again! We are really looking forward to some great times this year, and you can help us!
