My Students
I will be working with 5th and 6th grade diverse learners. We are returning to in person learning in August of 2021. The community from which they come from are under resourced and having basic supplies is difficult. This will be my FIRST YEAR at my Elementary school in the Greater Grand Crossing community in Chicago, IL.
My Project
Organization is key in my classroom. The organizers, bins, and file hangers will be used as tools so my students can organize independently.
As I enter my first year, I want to make sure that my students can keep themselves organized and move around the classroom independently as needed.
It is very important that students have the necessary supplies they need to be successful in our classroom. These items will greatly assist my students who have difficulty staying organized or keeping up with important classwork, homework, etc.
My students are resilient.
Donations to this project will give them another approach to stay organized within our classroom. Each donation will be you equipping them with the necessary skills that is needed for them to be successful in my classroom and in life.
