My Project
At our elementary school, we have wonderful students who are eager to learn about music. Many of our 300+ kindergarten through 5th-grade students come from low-income/high-poverty households. Playing instruments together will help our students to work together as a team and foster a sense of school community.
Due to current budget limitations, our music budget has decreased, but our need for music to teach and support our curriculum has remained the same.
With your generous funding of our project, we’ll invest in quality and engaging music and props for each student, such as the musical Elflandia and elf hats, that will engage the community. We’ll organize performances where both our student body and the community can experience the music firsthand, fostering a connection between the creators and their supporters. We will also create a lasting Impact by using the funds to ensure the longevity of our music program, creating resources for its continued promotion and preservation, and using it as a stepping stone for future musical projects.
