This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are very artistic! I am hosting an Art Club for those who are interested in expanding on their skills. Please help me in purchasing some art supplies/props so they can work on mini art projects and explore more of their artistic abilities. I incorporate social emotional skills while doing the art projects. For example, making sensory jars, painting rocks for kindness day, and painting on wood are good ways to calm down, de-stress. Props can be used during difficult times.
With art supplies, my students will be able to have more to do during their time in the art club and share their artistic skills with each other.
