This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeking donations to help purchase graphic novels such as the Babysitters Club for our 5th graders. While we already have a collection of traditional books, our students are increasingly requesting graphic novels, a modern genre that captivates and engages them in ways other books may not. Graphic novels combine dynamic visuals with strong storytelling, making them an effective tool for improving reading skills and comprehension, especially for reluctant readers.

By providing these books, we can meet the student's interest and fostering a love of reading.

Your donation will help bring these highly requested graphic novels into our classroom, offering students the chance to explore new genres and grow as readers. Help us make reading more accessible and exciting for our 5th graders!
