The new school year started with a bang!
I am excited to teach twenty-two third grade Magnet students. They are inquisitive, enthusiastic, creative, and full of energy. I'm looking forward to challenging them this coming school year. My students attend school in a low income area. The entire school is on a free breakfast and lunch program.
My Project
Writing is an integral part of our curriculum. My students write daily and enjoy creating their own books. I need a 10-drawer cart in order to organize my writing center so the materials are easily accessible to my students. Writing prompts will be stored in the drawers. Students will pull out a prompt from the drawer, respond to it, and publish on a variety of paper from the drawers. To make writing fun and foster their creativity, students can utilize a variety of pens, color pencils, and rubber stamps stored in the drawers. To assist my students to be better organized, they will use the Avery labels to label their folders, journals, and projects. My students also need a supply of HP ink. They will use the printer to add color to their assignments, student created books, and projects.
The addition of a 10-drawer cart, Avery labels, and HP ink will improve the organization and effectiveness of my classroom.
My students will be able to find things quickly and efficiently. Since they create many projects throughout the year, the HP ink is vital in helping them to produce quality, professional work.
