My Project
At Wai'anae High School, we are committed to ensuring all our students have the tools they need to succeed academically. However, many of our students face significant challenges with reading comprehension, especially when it comes to standardized science testing. This is due to the complex vocabulary that often exceeds their current reading levels. For the first time, the state has granted students the opportunity to access audio reading of their science tests, but without the necessary headphones, many of my students are missing out on this crucial advantage.
To bridge this gap and provide every student with an equitable chance to demonstrate their knowledge, I need your help.
Students cannot afford to buy headphones. My goal is to equip my students with high-quality headphones that will enable them to listen to their tests clearly and effectively. By doing so, I can ensure that my students have the opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities and accurately showcase their understanding of the material.
