Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 100% of our students receiving free lunch.
We are a high school that supports creativity.
This year our school has taken a huge budget cut. Even though we had this budget cut, it is all about the kids.
We are an inner city school of visual and performing arts. My students live in neighborhoods that are stricken with violence and much crime and they are wanting to make a difference right in their neighborhoods.
My students are amazing kids, they come in years behind from an academic stand point, but try their best everyday to improve their own and others' lives.
My Project
My students need your support for hygiene products to make packages for our students at school. My students need these supplies that are necessities for them. They live in shelters and the supplies are limited to them. Some of these products are everyday necessities, like shampoo, toothpaste, and deodorant. I would like to to introduce my students to this special project. We are hoping you can help fund us! My students are high school graders who need to be part of this program I have designed named "Help our Students". We are an inner city school in Bronx, New York. My students live in neighborhoods that are stricken with violence and much crime and they are wanting to make a difference right in their neighborhoods.
