Help My Students With Disabilities During Remote Learning Visual Differentiation!
Help me give my students visual reference sheets, images, graphic organizers, ELA/Math checklists, sentence starters, discussion prompts, and much more!
I am a special education teacher in ELA and Math for grades kindergarten through eighth grade. With this being said, I have many important visual resources and reference sheets that I use on a daily basis that requires differentiation amongst my various classes. Many of my students' do not have access to printers or copiers which is essential when teaching both ELA/Writing and Math. My students' are from families of low socioeconomic means and have access to getting it. Having a printer and copier at home makes resources immediate for my students and myself to achieve academic excellence while learning remotely. My students always put forth their best efforts to learn and most require various visuals, checklists, graphic organizers, sentence starters, discussion prompts, rubrics, and modeling techniques. By having a printer on-hand, I can help my students' achieve academic success while learning through this unprecedented time during a global pandemic. Thank You.
My Project
I teach kindergarten through eighth grade in ELA and Math for students with disabilities. Remote learning took us all by storm, and I am trying my best to give my students the best education I can. With this being said, I teach so many grade levels and many different topics at once. This makes working without a printer or copier hard because I need to differentiate my learning to accommodate all the needs of every student I service. I strive to give my students visual reference sheets/aids, sentence starters, discussion prompts, checklists, and graphic organizers; however, in order to do this, I need a printer and toner so I can print stuff out on the fly when they most need it in order for them to achieve the best academic success in these hard time. I'm thanking you from the bottom of my heart for donating to my students! It's people like you that make the world a better place! Thank you!
