This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students for next year will be greatly affected by this pandemic. With social distancing rules in place and not being able to share supplies that means they need more accommodations and supplies in class to allow this all to happen. They live in low income homes and will not be able to afford supplies that will last them all year.
My Project
These supplies will help my students next year social distance and stay safe. Being that they can’t share, we need supplies to help them do this. The pencil boxes will be kept in their desks to make their supplies only for them. The tape will be used to mark the floor so they know where to stand and or walk while in the classroom. The privacy screens will help them maintain distance and stay safe while sitting at their desks. This will allow them to stay safe and continue to learn. We need to keep our students safe and healthy and this will help me adapt my classroom so this can happen.
