My Project
I came from school where I started a rock band program (known as modern band) and would like to start the same type of program at my new school. There is one class learning right now and they are doing great with my personal instruments I brought from home and the keyboards, baritone ukuleles, and Orff instruments available at my school, but the problem is most of my guitars are electric!
The addition of a PA system to my classroom would allow 5 more students have their sound projected on electric guitar, bass guitar, or keyboard.
There is also the option of microphones for my students who would like to sing with the band. This is also a system I am familiar with and it is a cost effective way for me to get multiple students heard!
This has been a great outlet for many of my students during such a complicated and trying time in their life. Being able to play an instrument and have another way of expressing themselves that is healthy is essential!
