Help My Students Imagine Through Play

Help me give my students totes, a cassette player, and creative play resources so they can have a dramatic play area and animal area with items to touch, imagine and explore.

My Students

I have a blended classroom. I have diverse learners and general education students. Most of our students come from impoverished homes and don't have access to high-quality books, materials, and technology.

I believe that all students should receive a high-quality education, that propels them to become college graduates and go into STEM careers.

I want to continue fostering a love affair with learning while promoting positive self-esteem. My babies are the future, and it's my pleasure to see their journey.

My Project

Students come from homes, that have limited resources and I want them to explore and expand what they are learning. We are learning how to build a treehouse and dollhouse, but don't know what it is like to play in one. Students are learning about Dr. Mae Jemison, but don't have a rocket ship to blast into space. I want their experiences to extend beyond my read alouds and videos. I want them to dream, play and explore the world around them.

Please help me shape their beautiful futures through pretend play.

This project will provide totes, a cassette player, play animals, play food, and other resources.
