Help My Students Have a Sense of Classroom OSMO-sis

Help me give my students a real class/personal connection with Osmo's document reader. This will project my own hand demonstrating how I may solve for math problems and how I form correct letters and neat penmanship and more.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a small Title I school, where eighty-six percent of the students come from low-income households and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. I teach a self-contained SLD class that range from 3rd to 6th grade. My students are enthusiastic, eager learners who may have mild to moderate special needs, yet they work towards achieving their academic and emotional goals even though some of them struggle with health and wellness.

My students come from diverse backgrounds.

They are kids with hopes and dreams of making their lives better and want to improve the future of their families. We do whatever it takes to help them find success in school and life.

My Project

My students need step by step repetitive demonstrations on how to manouver objects to solve math problems or step by step directions on where to find key details within paragraphs. I will be able to show how I manipulate math problems or the pencil/pen to improve penmanship.

The Osmo kits will help provide a sense of classroom for my special ed students, by projecting the language lessons such as written text and math lessons as I can write and project my notes live via this kit in a safe distance learning environment.

The language arts lesson will be enhanced as the Osmo will highlight how a reader can annotate for key notes. During math, the projected image will support oral discussions as I project step by step lessons when solving math problems.
