My Project

A new subscription to IXL would significantly impact my new math program, Illustrative Math. IXL is an online tool for personalized learning. This program will be used to teach language arts in the content area of science and students will complete activities related to climate change as it relates to Earth Day. This program will help meet the needs of all learners and provide real-time data and individualized plans for each student based on their needs. IXL breaks down the Next Generation standards into individual skills students can practice. The students will learn about math and science through interactive lessons that will prepare them for their future.

IXL will allow me to maximize learning in math to its fullest potential, and this will allow me to close the achievement gaps in math for lost learning from the pandemic.

Using IXL will allow students to gain confidence in their math, reading, and science skills as learning is differentiated to their needs. IXL will engage my students.

Funding this fantastic program will brighten and spark the new school year.
