Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are English language learners and they must take an extra set of tests every year. After a long day of testing my students need a relaxing activity to keep them keep busy while others finish and help destress after they finish taking their test. I plan to use the materials after students finish their tests to help them destress.
The diamond art kits will be used after testing to allow students to relax and destress from the pressure of state testing.
I want to create a calming activity where students engage in an activity we normally do not have the opportunity to do that will help them relax and have fun after all the testing pressure.
