Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is with great sadness that I prepare for the end of the school year. I am proud to have witnessed such growth in my students, in what felt like such a short period of time. These students have worked so hard every day and have accomplished so much. They share such a passion for learning and thriving to be the best they can. There have been so many lessons learned not only in math and ELA but also in friendship, kindness, and independence. I couldn't have asked for a better group. I would love the chance to send them off with enjoyable materials they could use to maintain and build the skills obtained this year. I have included books to read to them and others to send them home with so they can continue practicing reading and answering comprehension questions. I also included beach buckets so they could collect different items for counting purposes. Bubbles are also good for counting and fine motor skills. The students truly enjoy coloring which is why I included coloring books to strengthen their fine motor skills. Please consider donating to help me make this possible. I truly appreciate any and all donations.
