Help My Students Become Multiplication Masters

Help me give my students multiplication bandz to help them learn their math facts.

My Students

I love learning all about my new students at the beginning of each school year. I love my students excitement about learning things and want them to continue to feel this way year round.

My students are from a very high poverty area made up of mostly Native American students.

Over 90% of our students qualify for the free lunch program. Most of the students come from broken homes and blended families.

These students need all the encouragement they get from school personnel.

My Project

I want my students to master their multiplication facts in the third grade. There have been many strategies that have been tried. Some strategies have failed, while some strategies have succeeded. One of the strategies I believe in is that if they see them and say them every day, they will learn them.

I believe that having the students wear the X-Bandz for multiplication will help all of my students be successful in mastering their facts.

I plan to have them wear each band as they are learning that fact family and when it is mastered, they will receive the next fact family. It will also help my special needs students who have memorization problems.
