My Students

My students are incredibly passionate about Speech and Debate. They are hardworking, thoughtful students who really want to make a difference in their schools and bigger communities.

My students work extremely hard to make their opinions and interests heard.

They are willing to try just about anything with the promise that it will be fun or will have a positive effect on others around them. They care about others and want to use their strengths to influence the world.

My Project

Listenwise is a program that creates short audio clips about current events happening around the world. While the free version is awesome because it provides us with the audio, I think my students would benefit exponentially more if they had access to the premium features.

By helping fund a premium license, students will gain access to interactive transcripts, a variety of audio speed options, tiered vocabulary practice, listening comprehension quizzes, and more.

I want my students to have the opportunity to learn at their speed (literally!) and I think Listenwise will help us get there.
