My students need a Calendar Math Activity Program, a Listen & Learn Phonics Activity Program, and a Question of the Day Chart Kit to enhance their learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have a difficult time listening and staying engaged. This phonics learning center will help my students boost their listening skills as well as their phonics!
My school is a Title One school.
We have 90% of our students on free or reduced lunch. The majority of them are English Language Learners. Listening is a challenge everyday in the classroom. Listening and phonics are crucial to learning success. My students can use a boost in this area!
My Project
The listen and learn phonics program will help my students boost their listening skills as well as their phonics skills. The calendar math pocket chart set will help them to learn a lot of different skills such as patterning, estimation, ones, tens and hundreds, do the problem of the day, as well as learn about the month and day. The question of the day math graph is something that the children will learn a lot from and will be incorporated daily in our calendar math sessions. The pocket charts help to keep everything neat and organized and is easy for the children to use.
My students need a boost in their listening and phonics skills.
This center activity will really help them! The math charts will help our daily calendar activities to be more fun and engaging.
