This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I teach an Emotionally Disturbed self contained class at a junior high school. My students benefit from project-based learning and are in need of some STEM projects for them to work on. Due to their lack of social skills, each student needs a project to work on independently before they can work as groups.

These projects will give my students hands-on experience with the engineering process and help them learn how to problem solve when frustrated.

My hope is that these projects help them learn to regulate themselves enough so that we can do group projects in the future.
