My Project

To be a well rounded percussionists, my students need experience playing many different percussion instruments. Right now, I do not have a gong for my middle school band program and while this instrument is not used in every piece of music that we play, many pieces do call for it.

Having this instrument in my room for my students will give them more opportunities to expand their performing abilities.

They will be able to also perform expanded repertoire for our concerts that in the past I wasn't able to program because of the lack of the instrument.
