Help My Office Become More Welcoming!

Help me give my students a more welcoming office environment for students with things like the futon so that they have somewhere comfortable to sit on instead of a hard plastic chair.

My Project

I am a first-year counselor after having been a classroom teacher for 16 years. I am in the slow process of making my office more inviting and cozier for my students, but it has taken a toll on my personal budget.

Please help me to spruce up my office with items such as a futon, so that students feel more comfortable being in there to see me.

Right now, I have them sitting on hard plastic chairs because my budget was spent mostly on desperately needed items like office supplies and other essential items. Now that I have my feet on solid ground with the necessities, I am working on making the office a cozy safe space for my students.
