This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember that feeling of your first day of kindergarten? I sure do and want to give my students a classroom experience to remember. I teach in a Title I school and my students are excited to start kindergarten and to start school in person. Before this school year begins I am in need of some supplies to kickstart the year and give these students the best first year of school.
My Project
I am in need of materials to build my classroom. I am a first year teacher entering my very first classroom and do not have many things just yet.
I am in need of a few flexible seating choices.
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them.
All of my students would benefit from new manipulative for the classroom along with new classroom materials such as stamps, dot markers, erasable pouches, play kitchen food, etc. These materials will be used for art projects, everyday creative playtime.
I am also in need of books for my library while I have a good collection I am missing a few of my favorite authors!
