My Project
Our DonorsChoose project is vital for enhancing the educational experience of our special education students, who face unique challenges in the classroom. By providing noise-cancelling headphones, we create an environment that reduces external stimuli, allowing our students to focus better on their learning. This simple yet effective tool helps to minimize distractions, fostering an atmosphere conducive to academic success. Moreover, the integration of fidgets and calming items into their daily routine plays a crucial role in helping students regulate their emotions and maintain their attention throughout the day. These resources empower students to manage their sensory needs, ensuring they have the necessary support to thrive.
