My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to create a classroom environment that educates the whole child. We need an environment that enables the variety of learners in my class to have voice and choice in their learning.

My students are AMAZING and hardworking young heroes with BIG dreams and goals.

In our classroom, they are focused and engaged in rigorous real world learning.

My Project

The 12 Kore Patented WOBBLE Chairs and the 2 sets of Square Floor Cushions will allow my students the opportunity to have flexible seating. Having access to this will enable them to have choice of seating and the ability to focus. The noise cancelling headphones will provide students with the quiet environment needed to work while their classmates may prefer some focus music. The 2 Echo Dots will allow us to play music to focus and integrate more technology use in our classroom. All of these tools will benefit my 55 students this year and all learners who enter my classroom in years to come.
