My Project

Help My First Graders Learn in an Organized, Hands-On Classroom!

I am a first-year first grade teacher in North Carolina, and I am so excited to create a classroom where my 16 students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn!

First grade is such an important year for building independence, confidence, and strong academic foundations, and I want my students to have a classroom environment that makes learning feel exciting and accessible.

This project will provide essential classroom organization supplies, a laminator, and laminating pouches that will help me create durable, reusable learning materials and keep our classroom organized. My students will use visual supports, learning games, center activities, reference materials, labels, and hands-on resources throughout the year. Having a laminator will allow me to protect these materials so that they can be used again and again by my students and future classes.

Organization is especially important in first grade! With clearly labeled supplies, accessible learning materials, and organized centers, my students can practice taking responsibility for their classroom and become more independent learners. Instead of spending valuable learning time searching for materials, students will know where things belong and how to access what they need.

Your support will help me build a classroom that is organized, welcoming, and designed with young learners in mind. Every supply will help make our classroom run more smoothly and give my students more opportunities to learn through engaging, hands-on activities.
