Hi there! I am a 1st Grade teacher at a wonderfully diverse school in San Francisco. I incorporate many thematic units within my curriculum. Themes such as Holidays, the Solar System, Dental Health, and Planting are just a few of the themes that I teach throughout the year. I have lots of books that the children can enjoy based on those themes. The only problem is the children do not always see these books because I do not have anywhere to display them! I currently put the books in bins for the children to browse through. But I think the children would love to have the thematic books displayed on a Book Display Case so they have easy assess to the books. Having the Book Display Case would make it easier for the children, the teacher, and it would show the parents what is the theme for the week. I know this gift would be put to good use for many classes in the future. Thank you for reading my proposal!
