My Project

A few years ago, my school had seven English Language Learners. Then it became ten. We are now up to twenty-five E.L.L.s from many different countries, many of whom have lived in the United States for years. While they are a joy to teach, they are at vastly different levels of English proficiency. This can make it hard to target each student in order to push them.

Each year, my students take the national ACCESS test that measures their levels of English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

This is an intensive testing process, and I really want to show them that they are progressing in their skills. I have joined countless teacher "think tanks" on social media, and one colleague suggested this online program that teaches in the format in which they're tested. Brilliant!

I'm hoping that this project will get funded because the product looks amazing. It will allow me to see how my students will do based on mock tasks that mirror the exam. This will let me give them targeted feedback. The more that they practice, the more confident they will get. I'm excited for them to see their growth in real-time. Please help me to make this happen with a donation to this request!
