My Project

Hello! I am a high school special education teacher at a low income high school located on the Southside of Chicago. I am teaching freshman English for our diverse learners and English Language Learners. I would love to incorporate SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) within my classroom in order for students to learn to love to read despite their learning difficulties.

By providing high interest books at their reading levels, you will help make a difference in their academic career and personal lives.
