Help My Dancers Maintain Their Strength

Help me give my students resistance bands and kettle bells for our virtual stretching/strengthening classes.

My Students

I teach beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of dance to high school students. Our classroom has been dramatically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. My students lost the opportunity to perform their spring dance show, and we are now working from home. Instead of fulfilling our goal of showcasing our group work, we are now working entirely independently. All projects are now individual-based.

As of now, I am offering daily stretching and strengthening classes with the goal in mind that we can continue to build a sense of community and also continue to stay emotionally and physically fit.

Your support for my students and me would be greatly appreciated. My students, especially my seniors, are devastated by this pandemic and I would like to find ways to support their learning and help them finish their high school experience in a strong, positive way.

My Project

I would love your support of providing these items for my students, specifically my dance team. I am currently running daily stretching and strengthening classes with my students to help them maintain their strength and flexibility while we are unable to train regularly together.

One of the obstacles is that my students do not all have equipment at their homes.

I would like to be able to drop this equipment off at their houses so that we can work out together and maintain a sense of community through this coronavirus pandemic.

If you have the ability, please consider contributing to my students' and their love for dance. They are hard workers and with a little community assistance, I know we can work together to support one another through this tumultuous and uncertain time.
