Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting some items for my classroom. I teach kindergarten and we go through supplies very quickly. I would love to start the school year off with some new dry erase markers for them. We get the ball rolling really quickly, we start learning how to write letters and their names. We use the dry erase markers daily. We practice writing numbers just to name a few things and we go through the dry erase markers quickly.

My students deserve the basic school supplies to help us get our year started off right!

I am also requesting laminating sheets. Throughout the year, I laminate a lot of resources for my students to use in math and literacy centers. I am constantly going through the laminating sheets quickly.

I work at a diverse school and I would love to provide skin color crayons. I am constantly asked but I am unable to provide them with the correct colors. I know having the skin color crayons will help students feel excited and more comfortable in my classroom. And the colored pencils will give students a different medium for coloring. I hope that getting some of the basic supplies will help start off our school year strong.
