I currently teach 3rd grade in Florida and have 38 amazing 8-9 year olds that I get to spend my day teaching Math & Science to throughout the day. My students love hands in activities for math & science, but I am limited on what I can buy. I hope to help them learn our state standards better through the use of some fun hands on STEM activities in the classroom. I am hoping to make this happen to enhance my lessons & get more FUN STEM things into the hands of my brilliant students. This year I hope to incorporate more Project Based learning opportunities for my kids and sprinkle in some Cambridge based projects since our school (K-8th) is trying to start this to prepare them for middle and high school.
With the use of STEM collaborative activities, it allows the teacher to walk around to monitor & spend more time focusing on their learners & build stronger relationships with the kids.

My Project
These STEM books and hands-on resources that I have selected will help my 3rd graders become more confident with the standards for math & science this year. I love to have hands on activities and to make learning as FUN as possible. I feel like it is the best way to keep them engaged and wanting to learn more throughout the day! With these items I will able to do just that. 😀 I will use these materials to provide hands on experiences & provide project based learning for my 3rd graders.
