it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Greetings! I have the privilege of teaching a self-contained classroom of students with specific learning disabilities in Washington, D.C. This is a new classroom in need of quite a few necessities. It is extremely important to have flexible seating to meet the sensory needs of all learners.
I think having a mix of carpeting (for class meetings and whole group instruction) and wobble chairs (for desk work and independent reading) will be very helpful.
It will provide the students with a space of comfort and choice, creating a conducive classroom learning environment. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated!
