This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
5th grade Field Day is such an exciting day here at our school. The entire grade gets to go to a park and participate in different games and activities. Unfortunately, not all students have the resources to get clothes or "gear" to join in on the fun...and I would like for my entire class to match in our team color, blue!
Field Day is important because it teaches students how to work together and communicate effectively in order to achieve their goals.
By donating to our project, my students will look like a team and succeed in a group activity. They are awesome kids and LOVE Field Day because it gives them the opportunity to run around and show off their athletic abilities! They are really looking forward to running around outside and enjoying the Spring weather.
I would greatly appreciate any help or donations to have my class reach the finish line!
