My Students

I teach in a mild/moderate disabilities classroom with students from 4th-6th grade. These students' needs vary daily in the areas of academic and emotional resiliency. Most of the students I work with are already one to three grades behind their academic peers.

When COVID-19 started this pushed my students even further behind their same-age peers.

My students have fallen even further behind and having the project funded will help my students have the needed tools to help them be successful in the classroom.

My Project

My project will positively affect students with disabilities from 4th-6th grade. My students need updated office supplies to be able to track their individual IEP goals, as well as some of their emotional and motivational needs.

My students were already 1-3 grades behind their same-age peers, and when COVID-19 started, my students struggled even more and have since struggled to catch up, even with proper research-based methods in the areas of academic and emotional tools.

My students will be able to use these tools as motivators as well as tools to help track and monitor IEP goals. This project will help students to gain more skills to improve their individual IEP goals.
