My Project
Middle school math is a turning point for many students. It’s when math becomes more abstract, and some begin to doubt their abilities, believing they aren't "math people." Even high-achieving learners face challenges as the need for consistent practice increases. These crucial years not only prepare students for their first major math milestone—the Algebra I Regents exam—but also shape their lifelong attitudes toward math.
Our diverse group of learners, including those in an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom, thrives with differentiated, engaging materials that make math accessible and enjoyable.
That’s why I’m requesting 3 TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) gift cards. These resources will provide us with creative tools, including open-ended “low floor, high ceiling” tasks and visual organizers, to help students stay engaged and build confidence as they tackle math concepts at their own pace.
