Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting some snack foods for my students, we have some students and families struggling financially and our students could use some snacks to help them get through the day. A healthy and fed mind works better. As a School Advocate, I work very closely with our students to help provide a safe campus and promote joyfulness and wellness. The snacks give me the opportunity to talk with students and help provide any Community resources they or their families might need.
