My Project
I have the honor of starting my first year teaching an amazing group of second-grade students at a public school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and bring so much energy, creativity, and potential to the classroom.
As a first-year teacher, I want to build a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
The goal for my classroom is a place where we celebrate growth, kindness, and community, and empower students to succeed.
Starting a classroom from scratch is both exciting and overwhelming. While I’ve been able to bring in some basics, there are still key items that would make a huge difference in my classroom. This project includes student supplies flexible setting options for students, dry easers and markers for whiteboard, and engaged math manipulatives. Teaching supplies: mobile desk used for curriculum and being able to be hands-free when teaching. Organizers for my desk, whiteboard, and classroom. These items will help me and my students have an engaging learning environment, stay organized, and feel comfortable throughout the day
These foundational tools will support daily routines and give my students the environment they deserve to grow and thrive in their first year with me. The teacher supplies will help me manage lessons, plan activities, and stay organized to focus on meaningful instruction. Thank you so much for considering a gift to help our classroom.
