Help me give my students a case to cover and protect our most expensive item in the classroom, our iPad Pro....It will also one day protect our Apple Pencil, which we will hopefully own one day soon too!
My students are what gives this campus life. They are our reason for getting out of bed and coming to work each morning. When I walk into my classroom at 6am each morning, I see students already wandering around the campus, just to come work in the commons or grab breakfast. Some kids are here early simply to talk and hang out because they know school is the safest place to be. They love to be there, and truth be told, I love to have them here. These guys are awesome. As a Title I school, most of our students aren't financially well off.
They look to our campus to provide them with their meals (they receive free breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as their tech, internet access, and even social guidance, as their parents usually work full time and they can sometimes be left alone when they're at home.
My students are the best part of my life. I would like to return the favor of the joy they give me in teaching them by providing them with a classroom that is both safe, comfortable and makes them even more eager to come to school.
My students recently received our first iPad Pro. It was a wonderful surprise, and we are very grateful! We are also tremendously anxious to use it! However, we are unable to even take it out of its box until we get a way to cover it and protect it. You see, in a classroom computer lab, especially one where hundreds of students shuffle in and out, there needs to be some way for us to make sure that this iPad is protected and ensured that it will be safe from being dropped, spilled on, cracked or any other kind of accident. It's just too precious and expensive of a learning tool to be used by so many of us to be lent out without a proper protective cover.
This Zagg Rugged Keyboard Folio will not only protect our iPad, but it will also offer us a keyboard option for those of us who are special learners who can't use touch screens very well; in other words, it accommodates my students who will need to type on its keys rather than use the screen because of gross motor function abilities.
I am very blessed and so happy to have my students, and I would love to see them use this iPad Pro to enhance their learning and engagement. If you can help us out, I would love it very much. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
