Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of our students come from low income households and struggle with making school a priority. I'm trying to provide my students with every opportunity to be successful in high school. Unfortunately, cell phones are a huge distraction from learning and instruction at our school. I would like to provide a safe place for students to store their cell phones in the classroom so they don't have to worry about someone stealing or breaking them. A cell phone locker with individual keys would provide this level of security and comfort to our students. This purchase will help students to lock in and pay attention to our lesson, without the temptation of their phone competing for their attention.
