Help Me to Clearly Hear the Difference

Help me give my students headphones for their chromebooks to clearly hear their individualized learning via online apps.

My Project

My students work in technology learning centers during Reading and Math classes. During this time, they work on computer applications that are individualized to their learning. The reading programs have a component that first reads each word and also stories to the student. This becomes hard for the students to clearly hear when other students are also listening to their individualized learning. Therefore, negatively impacting their own learning.

It is very important for my students to clearly hear the online programs for their learning growth.

The math programs have students listening to specific directions to learn how to complete their tasks. Again, not being able to clearly hear the information negatively impedes their learning.

While my students face a multitude of challenges in their homes and neighborhoods, I want our classroom to be a place where their challenges are met. My students enjoy working with the online applications. They understand the benefits to them for their learning growth. Using headphones to clearly hear their learning is something that my students look forward to.
