My Project
Diversity is a foundational root that needs to be grown into your classrooms foundation. My goal for this project is to teach students that there are more ways to learning than what they may think. On the alphabet and numbers posters American Sign Language is included. American Sign Language is not taught as much as other languages today, but it is just as beneficial as learning other languages. The plastic buckets will be used in multiple ways. They will be used for organization and book buckets. Book buckets are used to have books readily available to students when they have free time or when they want to deepen their love for reading. Having books near students helps drive their willingness and determination for reading. My students are special because they have a new sense of love for education. I included the American Sign Language to broaden their idea of education, but to also provide them with skills that will set them apart from others.
