This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In this project, I am hoping to receive new bean bag chairs for my classroom's calm corner. I currently have 3 bean bag chairs that students have been able to enjoy the past few years. I was fortunate to get the chairs from the previous teacher in my classroom, and for that I am very grateful.
But in this new school year, my goal is to replace the bean bags that have started to rip due to natural wear and tear.
All of my students utilize the chairs on a day to day basis. Not only do they use the space to relax and decompress, but they also use the bean bags when reading and finishing their classroom. It allows for collaboration and discussions with peers.
