I serve 50 incredible 4th grade students right in the heart of our state. We come from such a vibrant, cultural area with our beautiful, mountain scenery and I want to bring art to life for them.
One of the most important things to me is to be able to provide my students with the tools they need to have a fun and engaging environment to learn in.
Sadly, we do not have an art or music program within our school. They have to wait until they are in highschool to have any type of class like this. We are only able to introduce these into our lessons when we get time. Most of the time the only constraint is the lack of supplies. When they are given an opportunity, my students can excel in anything whether it is their regular ciriculum, art, or even music.
Here is what I need for my project:
I would like to ask for supplies that will enrich my students with art and music lessons. Some of these supplies would include, paint, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks and even laminating sheets to keep their projects looking great for a lifetime. I think that for students to understand different art mediums, they need to be able to do hands on projects. They will be able to paint, color, draw, and even glue things securely together. I love to display their finished artwork in the hall when we are able to do so.
By donating you will be ensuring that my students have what they need to produce fun and engaging projects. This will help them to better understand the content that they need to know as well. When you invest in a student, you are investing in their future.
